After the second match day from the Premier League and the opening weekend of the Serie A season. What can we take from this weekend?

Wayne Rooney still has a role at Manchester United.

He days as the central striker seem to be gone now with Robin Van Persie firmly placed there, however after putting another great performance in the trequartista role, he showed he still has a lot to offer Manchester United.

It’s going to be another difficult season for Milan.

Luca Toni scored a double to condemn Milan to an opening day defeat. There has been much optimism that Milan could challenge  Juventus  for the title this season, however after Napoli easily dispatched Genoa in a 3-0 win. They showed that they could be the biggest challenger to Juventus.

Celtic fans left short-changed by Sky Sports once again

Who can stop Peterborough?

After scoring twelve goals in their opening  four games and maintaing a 100% record, it seems Peterborough will cruise to the League One title. The 5-0 win over Tranmere at the weekend epitomized the attacking threat they have.
