3) Gino Peruzzi – Boca Juniors (£2.3-3 million)

Peruzzi for me is the ideal wing-back for a mid-table Premier League side. He is quick, decent going forward and also capable at defending.

In this game it is hard to find a player that can do all of these things at a reasonable price. The former Catania man is just that and the fact he attracts the likes of Sporting Lisbon should be enough to make your mind up.

If you want a player that will slot straight into your first team and add that little bit of quality he is your man, but I do stress caution with his tackling as well because he likes to dive into a lot of tackles.

Although, most of the time he is very decent he will pick up a lot of bookings if you push him too far forward.
