Sergio Aguero starts to chase all-time club goal scoring record

Prior to the international break Sergio Aguero moved up to sixth place in the list of Manchester City’s all-time top goal scorers when he netted in the 1-1 drawn against Middlesbrough. The 28-year-old has now scored 150 goals for City in just 223 appearances since signing from Athletico Madrid in the summer of 2011 and the diminutive Argentinian is now in sight of the club’s all time goal scoring record which is held by Eric Brook (who has 177 goals to his name).

Aguero already has fourteen goals to his name so far this season, despite missing three penalties so far this campaign, and you would not bet against him adding to his tally when City face out of form Crystal Palace this weekend.
