Five strikers Tottenham could target this summer
In the light of Harry Kane’s magic breakthrough season at Tottenham, the English starlet is in dire need of adequate backup/support. Roberto Soldado looks a shadow of the man at Valencia and for the sake of both himself and Spurs, it is time to cut their losses. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Adebayor’s wages are a blight on the clubs finances and Spurs would be sensible to move him on to whichever club are foolish enough to invest in the Togolese forward.
Kane is likely to suffer either a drop of form or fitness during the 2015/16 campaign and some quality back-up is going to be crucial if Spurs are going to mount any challenge for trophies or the top 4. If Mauricio Pochettino is to get Spurs to be as competitive as they were under Redknapp, the pressure on Kane needs to be minimised.
