A Frenchman who has consistently been linked with the Gunners over the past few seasons, Lacazette has again been linked this summer. With the player’s agent refusing to comment on reports that he has handed in a transfer request at Lyon, he cold become the latest French player to join Arsenal.

Partner and substitute to Olivier Giroud with France, and with 23 goals in 44 games, Lacazette could be the perfect player to join up and add the missing piece of the jigsaw to the Arsenal front line. Able to hold the ball up well, but not afraid to take a shot from distance, he provides a change from the existing options available to Arsene Wenger.

Lyon would not be keen on letting him go, particularly as he came through the club’s youth ranks, but Arsenal undoubtedly have the financial power to persuade them to let him go if they did decide to make a move for the Frenchman, who can also provide cover out wide should injuries mean that that’s required.
