Diego Costa may be leaving the club this summer and Michy Batshuayi could be loaned out to another Premier League club to gain first-team football. Chelsea are likely to be in the market for a striker and there is no better candidate than their former player, Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has emerged as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is now ready to test himself at the elite level once again.

A fee of £100 million has been mentioned in the press, but this would be within Chelsea’s capabilities and he would represent a great signing for the club, even if it is a huge markup from the price that they sold him at. His physicality is perfect for the Premier League and he is very good at carrying out a lone striker role. He would be a good fit for the 3-4-3 formation and be eager to be a success at Stamford Bridge after an underwhelming first spell with the club.
