Andrea Conti – Atalanta

Chelsea have scouted the Atalanta right-back, according to the Metro, and he is one that they may choose to make a move for this summer. He has been excellent in Serie A this season in a wing-back role and would be able to adapt quickly to the 3-4-3 formation that Antonio Conte plays at Stamford Bridge.

Although Victor Moses has done an admirable job this season, it would be a risk to have him as first-choice in the Champions League. Also, his red card in the FA Cup final will have created doubts in the mind of his manager regarding whether he can be trusted on big occasions.

Defensively, the Italian is reliable, as shown by his average of 4.3 ball recoveries per game. His discipline is an issue as he received 12 yellow cards during the domestic season, but this is something that can be worked on. Most impressively, he contributed eight goals and five goals, which is an excellent return for a player in his position. This would be a great signing for the Blues and one that should be a high priority.
