It appears Aston Villa have missed out on Joe Bryan, who looks set to join Fulham instead. So what other moves could Villa make both in, and out, on transfer deadline day?
Ins
It appears that Aston Villa want Robert Snodgrass back. According to The Guardian, the Championship side want the winger back after his excellent form for the club last season.
However, the Scotland international has been enjoying a good pre-season with West Ham and is in the first-team plans at the London Stadium. Aston Villa will be hoping something gives.
Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo continues to be linked to Aston Villa. Takvim reported that the former Manchester City striker is available at Besiktas for £3 million. They suggest Villa and Cardiff City are keen.
If not Negredo, then Isaac Success could be a target. The Daily Star report that the Nigerian international is a target, with his time at Watford coming to an end.

Outs
The one player continuing to be linked with an exit is Jack Grealish. The talented playmaker has been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur all summer.
However, the Express and Star are reporting Grealish is happy to stay and Tottenham have been told no bid will be accepted for the player.
Albert Adomah is also being linked with a move. Birmingham Live say his contract dispute with the club has left him open to bids from the likes of Leeds United and Middlesbrough.
Any other exits are likely to be loan deals, which will not need to be completed today.
