Kyle Walker – Tottenham Hotspur

With both Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta – the two recognised right-backs at the club – being released in the past week, Manchester City may turn their attention to Tottenham’s Kyle Walker.

Walker, as reported by the Independent, has a desire to leave White Hart Lane after falling out with manager Mauricio Pochettino over lack of selection for big games but is open to staying in England.

And this has alerted Guardiola according to the report, with it believed that the 26-year-old England international could be persuaded into a move to the Etihad if the asking price of £50 million is met.

Despite his issues at Spurs he has enjoyed an exceptional Premier League campaign, and his combination of defensive steel and attacking threat would lend him well to life at Manchester City.
