Five players that need desperately need a change of club this January

Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal

Clearly one of Arsene Wenger’s favourite players, Ramsey has often been given a special priority at Arsenal with the Welshman playing in many roles ahead of other, possibly more suited, players, such as his stint on the right wing when Walcott was also available.

However, like Jack Wilshere, Ramsey has struggled with injury problems throughout his whole Arsenal career. This season he’s been sidelined twice due to a hamstring injury. Also, both Ramsey and Wilshere are favourites of Wenger, could the Frenchman be rushing the duo back from injury too soon because he misses their ability on the pitch?

Wilshere, it was decided, was best out on loan for the season, yet, for Ramsey he’s been kept at Arsenal and has only featured six times in the league, less than half the amount Wilshere has played, the Englishman has 13 appearances to his name.

For Ramsey, it could be of benefit to both his short and long term Arsenal career that he finds a loan move in January to build his body strength and get consistent game time, after he has Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Mohammed Elneny to compete with for the two holding roles in Arsenal’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
