Robbie Brady – Norwich

Another left-back to be mentioned in this list. If Robbie Brady doesn’t secure a summer transfer, following his exploits for the Republic of Ireland in the EUROs, then he can count himself tremendously unfortunate, especially considering his current club Norwich City are now playing in the English Championship.

The 24-year-old was one of the star men in Martin O’Neill’s side last month, being both competent defensively and going forward which is required of a full back in the modern game.

The former Manchester United youth player was also something of a talisman, scoring two very important goals for the Irish: a late minute header to send Ireland through to the round of 16 and a second minute penalty against host nation France.

Sadly for them Brady’s goal wasn’t enough to send Ireland through, but Robbie made his mark and would be a great addition to many Premier League clubs, specifically those who are in need of a new left-back or winger.
