Five players still due a move after impressing at Euro 2016

Neil Taylor – Swansea

Neil Taylor was without question one of the surprise packages of this summer’s tournament, operating in Wales’ 3-5-2 system as a wing back.

The whole of Chris Coleman’s team was impressive in the EUROs as they reached the semi-finals, but Taylor stood out with his quick attacking runs and defensive awareness – traits required in a modern day wing-back or full-back. The-27 year-old even notched a goal in the group stages.

Swansea look like they may have a difficult season in 2016/17, and a player of Taylor’s quality, much like his compatriot and former team mate Ashley Williams, who has moved to Everton, deserves to be at a club achieving more.

Whether a move occurs or not is a separate kettle of fish, but most Premier League clubs – namely West Ham or Liverpool – would be lucky to have the Welshman.
