Michy Batshuayi – Chelsea

Dwight Gayle deserves a chance to prove himself in the Premier League and he will be given one by Benitez. However, the Magpies will also look to bring in a striker to provide competition and they have been linked with a move for Michy Batshuayi.

The Belgian international has a lot of talent and hasn’t been given a real chance at Chelsea, despite finishing the season with a flurry.

His reading of the game and movement mean that he will always get into goal-scoring positions, while he possesses the cool head to finish chances that come his way.

The system at Chelsea doesn’t suit him perfectly and that is why he has been given less game-time than expected, but he remains a hugely talented striker with lots of potential.

A loan move to a lower Premier League side like Newcastle could be what is required for him to step up his development and it would be a move worth making for the Magpies as they would be getting a £20-30 million striker to lead the line.
