Juan Mata has thrived since leaving Chelsea for Old Trafford becoming the top chance creator twice out of the last three seasons. Important goals have also been a trait of his time at the club, most recently the equalizer in the FA cup final.

The Red Devils would be keen to hang onto the man they have built their social media outlet around; Mata was given his own blog and is a good bridge to the fans.

However, winning the fans player of the season two years in a row at Chelsea did not stop Mourinho selling him. A repeat could well follow especially if he could be used in a swap deal for Andre Gomes of Mata’s old club Valencia.
