Tiemoue Bakayoko

The Monaco midfielder has been one of the revelations of the season this year at Monaco as his side romped to the Ligue Un title, defying expectations to see off Paris Saint-Germain and end their spell of dominance in France.

That in part was down to midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko as he dominated the midfield battle time after time as he came up against various strong oppositions in both France and Europe.

Already popular in the red half of Manchester after scoring one of the goals which helped to knock Manchester City out of Europe’s elite competition earlier this season, it’s thought that by signing Youri Tielemans, Monaco have already got their replacement for the France international.

Bakayoko’s strength and dynamism may draw similarities to the likes of Marouane Fellaini, only on a much upgraded scale, with his creativity adding an extra dimension to his game.
