The Argentinean has spoken of his desire to one day coach his compatriot Lionel Messi and his style of play and attacking football is bound to be popular at Camp Nou, but some remain unconvinced and are wary of appointing a coach with no previous experience at the club.

Much could depend upon how much Sampaoli pushes for a move, with Sevilla desperate to retain his services and give him a new deal.
