5. Losing from 2-0 up is very rare, but Liverpool are good at it

Liverpool capitulated in their 4-3 loss to Bournemouth, throwing away a 2-0 half-time lead to be beaten by Nathan Ake’s late goal, making it a miserable afternoon.

The Reds’ half-time lead was the 1,062nd time in Premier League history that a team had been 2-0 up at the break, and only 22 of those had been turned around to defeats. Liverpool made that total 23 this weekend.

The worst thing? They have already done it in 2016, losing 3-2 to Southampton back in the spring. Nightmare.
