Five key weekend statistics, featuring Arsenal and Manchester United
It was a big weekend for the Premier League’s elite London clubs, with Chelsea and Arsenal establishing themselves as the Premier League’s top two after big wins at Manchester City and West Ham.
But, as always, there were many more stories to come out of this weekend than purely results. We saw a hat-trick from one of the league’s finest performers, a record on a national scale and an example of just how far a big club has fallen off the pace this season.
