This transfer window would appear to be a very quiet one for the club or, if you believe the rumours, they could use it to bring the players that a certain Spanish-manager-who-is-currently-employed-but-not-for-much-longer-and-looking-for-a-Premier-League-job would like.

There are rumours aplenty that Pep Guardiola is set to replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer and has given the clubs hierarchy a shopping list with the likes of Messi, Alaba and Pogba on it.

Regardless of who is in charge, here are 5 positions that City could upgrade, or certainly like to upgrade, during this window.
