Andre Gray – Burnley

At the other end of the scale to Remy, Gray doesn’t have the international pedigree or experience in the top flight, never mind in European competition, which coupled with a high price could put suitors off, at least until the summer.

But as Jamie Vardy has proved this season, write off a striker with history in Non-League football at your peril. Gray shares the same raw pace that Remy is blessed with, and has 13 goals in 20 games for Burnley in the Championship this season.

Burnley made a statement of intent by signing the former Brentford and Luton forward, and the Clarets sit fifth in the table. Failure to go up this season, and Gray may make his third big move in as many summers: the Premier League stage surely awaits.
