If this deal was to be completed this would most certainly be Everton’s marquee signing of the season. A deal was reported to be close last summer, but Yarmolenko’s desire to play Champions League football halted any potential signing.

Though sounding unlikely for a cash-strapped Everton side, the Toffee’s reportedly still have the €27M needed to bring in the Ukranian within this window. However, Dynamo Kiev’s President seems reluctant to sell Yarmolenko so any potential deal may be halted until the end of the season and the summer transfer window. A host of other top clubs are reportedly chasing the midfielder and without European football, Everton may find it difficult to coax him to the club.
