A second option in the same position is AC Milan’s back up goalkeeper, Diego Lopez. Italian news stations have recently linked Everton with the player. The rise of 16 year old Donnarumma has limited playing time for Lopez, and he may be forced to leave the club in search of first team football. At 34 years of age, the Spaniard does not offer a long term fix for the position, but would certainly provide adequate cover until another target could be acquired.
