Five ins and outs Sunderland could complete this week

Charlie Wyke

Sunderland may have missed out on on Mo Eisa to Bristol City, but another striker target could be on his way to the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats are targeting Bradford City attacker Charlie Wyke and have made an improved bid for the player.

An original offer of £600,000 was lodged last week but they have now upped that offer to £1 million.

Bolton Wanderers are also keen on the player.

Ross McCormack

Sunderland are reportedly interested in a loan deal for the Aston Villa misfit. The Daily Mail report that the Black Cats are willing to bring the 31-year-old to the Stadium of Light on a season-long loan spell.

Sunderland previously failed to complete such a deal last year.

Jordan Jones

The Mail also suggest that Sunderland want Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones. The Northern Ireland international has been in fine form in Scotland and Sunderland are hopeful of luring him south of the border.

Andrew Nelson

One youngster who could leave is striker Nelson.

The 20-year-old is wanted by Falkirk on loan next season, according to the Sunderland Echo. He spent the second half of last season at the Scottish club and it appears they are keen on bringing him back.

George Evans

This deal appeared to be as good as done but has not yet been finalised.

In fact, HITC recently reported that the deal is currently unlikely after a breakdown in talks between the two parties.

The Reading Chronicle is reporting that interest from a Championship club has delayed any move as Evans assesses his options.

Sunderland will no doubt hope to still push this deal through in the coming days.
