‘First team squad now’: Some Spurs fans wowed by 20-year-old defender’s U23s display today
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to wax lyrical about Jubril Okedina’s impressive performance for Spurs’ Under-23s today.
The 20-year-old has come through the ranks at Tottenham and has been shining for the U23s, making 11 appearances this term and earning himself the captaincy.

The defender scored the first of the game, but was unable to prevent his side spurning a two-goal lead as they fell to a 3-2 defeat.
Wayne Burnett’s charges were once again involved in a high-scoring PL2 game this weekend, but this time they were victorious, winning 3-2 away at Liverpool U23s.
Okedina scored a brace, with Harvey White assisting on both occasions, either side of Brooklyn Lyons-Foster’s goal.
Spurs took the lead on three occasions but were pegged back each time by the Reds, until Jack Clarke made sure of victory with a stoppage-time winner in Kirkby.
Here is what some Tottenham fans were saying about Okedina’s display on the day:
