‘First team now please’: Arsenal fans want Folarin Balogun called up after under-23s winner

Arsenal fans were once again calling for young striker Folarin Balogun to be called into the senior squad last night after he netted another goal for the under-23s.

Balogun has been in and around the first-team this season but, so far, seems to be out of the picture when it comes to the Premier League.

However, the young striker once again scored last night as the Arsenal under-23s won again, this time netting the winner in a 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

Callum Chambers was also on the scoresheet for the Gunners, who continue to be in fine form at development level, something of a complete contract to the first XI.

And some Arsenal fans believe the time is now for Balogun to get more minutes under Arteta, with plenty taking to Twitter to deliver that exact message to the Gunners boss.
