Many Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited over claims that they have made an offer for Joaquin Correa at Lazio.
Alfredo Pedulla says that Spurs have submitted a bid worth around £26 million for the forward.
The move is believed to be being led by Tottenham’s new sporting director Fabio Paratici.
And Spurs supporters are excited by the latest reports that they have made their move for the Argentine.
Pros and cons
Correa isn’t the most natural goalscorer but his versatility in forward areas could be key.
The Lazio man is capable of playing right across the front three, or behind the striker.

Correa is a well rounded forward and his arrival would add further competition for places in advanced areas at Spurs.
But there must be questions marks over whether he is the most necessary of signings.
Tottenham already have fairly strong creative options – with the likes of Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele at the club.
And with Spurs having limited funds to spend, bringing in another number 10 may not be the wisest squad building decision, despite Correa’s obvious appeal.
