‘Finally get our man’: Arsenal fans think Houssem Aouar is on his way after Lyon troubles

Arsenal fans have been loving it on Twitter in the last 24 hours after it emerged that long-term target Houssem Aouar is in trouble with current club, Lyon.

The midfield maestro has been reprimanded by the club after reportedly refusing to train after being left out of a recent first XI.

Aouar has been a target for the Gunners for some time and was one of the players expected to join the summer. However, the move never panned out, with Arsenal signing Thomas Partey instead.

But given the news here on Aouar, some Arsenal fans have been getting excited on Twitter and are urging Mikel Arteta to make another move for the Frenchman in January.

A number of Gunners supporters seem keen for it to happen, with Twitter awash with comments suggesting a deal might now come to fruition.
