Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter in the last 30 minutes to provide the latest update on the Antonio Conte to Tottenham saga.
Conte is set to become the new Spurs boss less than a day after Nuno Santo was given his marching orders. Fabio Paratici is said to be desperate to get the deal done, and Conte is apparently in London ready to sign.

The appointment of Conte will be just months after the Italian initially rejected the club’s offer. It will bring the saga full circle, given Conte was Tottenham’s number one choice in the first place.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is all but done, with Conte now simply waiting for final details before signing his contract.
The update from Romano will be music to the ears of Tottenham fans who have been eagerly awaiting updates all day.
TBR’s View: It’s happening, and Tottenham can be excited
While Santo’s appointment was met with serious questions, there is no doubt that Conte will go down completely different.
His stature, success rate, and sheer work ethic means he is a real coup for the Tottenham board. The fact they’ve seemingly beaten Manchester United to him, too, is a massive boost.
Daniel Levy will now need to back Conte and ensure he gives him the best chance possible of being successful. Some of these Spurs players won’t last.
January is going to be busy indeed for Tottenham. And it now seems just a matter of time before Spurs fans can really celebrate.
