Fikayo Tomori has listed Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah as one of the “top players” he’s up against in England training.
The Gunners striker recently earned his first Three Lions call-up, coming on as a substitute in the friendly win over Australia in October.
The 24-year-old is closing in on 150 competitive senior appearances for the Gunners, including 17 this season.
Although Nketiah isn’t in the England squad for their November games, Tomori was still eager to praise the Arsenal man along the likes of Harry Kane, Callum Wilson and Ollie Watkins.
“There’s so many top players here,” the AC Milan ace told talkSPORT, who shared the interview on YouTube.
“So in training, you’re playing against Harry Kane, Callum Wilson, Ollie Watkins, Eddie Nketiah.

“Yeah, there’s so many players that are challenging you every day single day.
“And then when you’re on the same team as them, they make it easier for you. And not only the attackers that you’re playing against, but midfielders and defenders.
“Everyone’s kind of helping each other out because at the end of the day we’re all playing for England, we we all want the same thing.”
Eddie Nketiah ‘represents what we are all about’ at Arsenal
Nketiah has come a long way at Arsenal over the past few years, becoming an important squad member for Mikel Arteta.
In 2022, the Hale End graduate ended speculation over his future by penning a new contract reportedly worth £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) that takes him to 2027.
At the time, Arteta spoke of how Nketiah is a great ambassador for all of the Arsenal values.
“I’m delighted Eddie is staying with us,” he told the Gunners website. “He represents what we are all about and all the values of the club.
“We are very happy that he has extended his contract and now we have to get to work and continue to develop the great talent and person that we have in him.”
Nketiah is already on nearly 150 appearances for Arsenal and, at just 24 years of age, he has plenty of years ahead of him.
Hopefully Nketiah will be able to clock up many more appearances for the Gunners and also continue on his England journey.
