Fernando Llorente has paid tribute to Tottenham Hotspur and their fans, after completing a move to Napoli on a two-year deal.
The striker’s contract with the north Londoners expired earlier this summer, and the Italian outfit have officially snapped him up as a free agent.

Llorente had been training with the Sevilla B team during the summer, and there had been some speculation Tottenham would offer him fresh terms.
But Napoli have their man, and the veteran Spaniard has now taken to social media to thank all at Spurs.
He wrote: “After two wonderful seasons, today I say goodbye to Tottenham. It was a pleasure to wear this shirt and wherever I go there will be always a space in my heart for Tottenham and for their fans. I wish you all the best for this season and for the future! Thanks. #COYS.”
Llorente spent most of his time at Tottenham playing second fiddle to Harry Kane, but was appreciated by fans for his contributions in the Englishman’s absence.
The star was key in the club’s run to the Champions League final, scoring the crucial third goal against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the quarter-final second leg.
He made 66 appearances for the club and scored 13 goals, and will now hope to help Napoli topple his old club Juventus in the race for the Scudetto.
