11 – Burnley will need Tom Heaton to be in inspired form
Perhaps unfortunate not to be named in the PFA Premier League team of the year this week, Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton will need to put in another fine display to repel Manchester United.
Nine clean sheets this season for the 31-year-old, of which six have come at home, is the joint-fourth best tally in the top-flight and signals the best ever season for the England international.
Hero in Burnley’s goalless draw at Old Trafford earlier in the season, Heaton made a Premier League high of eleven saves to frustrate Jose Mourinho’s side and earn his side an invaluable point.
On that occasion the hosts had 37 shots at goal yet failed to find the back of the net, and Heaton – along with his defence – will be tasked with being equally miserly at Turf moor.
His save to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic from point-blank range was nothing short of sensational, and he may have to provide more goalkeeping heroics this weekend to keep a rampant United side at bay.
