Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a “fantastic” manager who’s among the “best in the world”.
This is according to Sam Allardyce, who lauded the Anfield boss on Kammy and Ben’s Proper Football Podcast.
Liverpool, one of the biggest clubs in world football, were pretty much treading water when Klopp arrived in 2015.

Over the next few years, the German turned the Reds into an all-conquering juggernaut.
Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019, as well as the European Super Cup and the FIFA Club world Cup.
The following year, the Reds finally lifted the Premier League after 30 years without a top-flight league title.
And this year, Liverpool lifted the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, though they came close to landing a quadruple.
Allardyce believes that the Premier League is home to the best managers in the world.
He singled Klopp out for praise, though he jokingly made sure to add that he has a good record against the German.
“We have the best in the world don’t we? That’s what I think,” said Allardyce.
“The best in the world want to try the Premier League. You’re pitting your wits against the best in the world.
“I have a good record against Jurgen except for the last 30 seconds at West Brom when the goalie scored.
“I never got over that one, but yeah I’ve done well but he’s a fantastic manager at a fantastic football club now.”

At present, Liverpool are enduring arguably the toughest spell of the Klopp tenure.
The Reds have won just two Premier League games this term, and they lost 4-1 to Napoli in the Champions League.
Nonetheless, Klopp has proven that he’s one of the best managers in the world.
He’ll know how to get Liverpool out of this rut and back to winning ways.
