‘Fantastic again’: Leeds fans praise Ilan Meslier despite Chelsea defeat

Leeds lost out at Chelsea this evening as Frank Lampard won out against old rival Marcelo Bielsa at Stamford Bridge.

2000 fans were back in attendance for the clash as Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud’s goals proved enough to cancel out the opener from Leeds striker, Patrick Bamford.

Once again, though, Leeds were in good nick and put in another excellent performance to further cement themselves as a Premier League force to be reckoned with.

A number of players put in good performances. Kalvin Phillips was good again, while Luke Ayling looked assured in defence once more.

However, it was goalkeeper Ilan Meslier who caught most of the attention on Twitter. The young stopper once again making a number of fine saves to ensure the score was kept down.
