Rangers look like they will be keeping hold of Alfredo Morelos. This summer has seen the Colombian linked with a host of clubs after another impressive goalscoring campaign at Ibrox last term.
The latest report regarding the player’s future suggested he had rejected a £30 million move to China, as reported by Sky Sports.
At present, it does not appear there is any active bid to sign the player and Rangers fans will be ecstatic if that remains the same.
But there is one thing Rangers fans will not want to see Morelos doing much more of this season. That is defending.

Morelos’ strengths are clear. 30 goals last season certainly highlight the fact that attacking is the best aspect of his game.
Unfortunately for Rangers, he was also called in to do some defensive duties in the Glasgow club’s season opener yesterday.
Morelos looked completely stupified at the back post as Stephen O’Donnell fired home an equaliser for Kilmarnock.
Luckily he was bailed out by his defensive team-mate Conor Goldson at the other end, as he headed home a 90th-minute winner for Rangers.
But Steven Gerrard will not have been impressed by Morelos’ attempts at doing a defensive job. In future, perhaps it is best to leave the 23-year-old up the field for the counter-attack.
