Everton’s inconsistent form continued yesterday as they failed to follow up on their weekend thrashing of Burnley against Brighton. A solitary goal from Jurgen Locadia gave the Seagulls a deserved win.
Everton fans were again left frustrated by their side and several usual suspects found themselves in the firing line.
Seamus Coleman and Theo Walcott, for example, were again called out after the game.
But some fans are also starting to wonder about Yerry Mina.
After a brilliant World Cup with Colombia, Everton snapped up Mina from Barcelona in the summer. He cost a fee reported by the BBC to be in the region of £27.2 million.

His debut saw a dream display v Chelsea and against Burnley he was also supreme, scoring his first goal for the club in the process. However, against Brighton, it was a game of two halves.
The Colombian was brilliant and assured in the first period. In the second-half it was like watching an entirely different player.
Mina was rash with his decision making, his play on the ball was erratic and, when Everton needed to bring on Gylfi Sigurdsson to try and make some magic happen, Mina was the man pulled from action.
It was another inconsistent display from the 23-year-old. Everton fans need him to start producing more reliable displays soon if they are to continue being happy with their investment…
