Fans react on Twitter to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s display in Spurs draw
A number of fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s performance during Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Chelsea on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho’s men went back to the top of the Premier League after securing a point at Stamford Bridge. Spurs looked the more dangerous side during the first-half.

However, they had to soak up a fair amount of pressure after the break. And that seemed to set the stage for Hojbjerg to shine.
The Dane has established himself as an inspired signing for Tottenham. He has produced some colossal performances since arriving in North London in the summer.

And he is arguably proving to also be one of the most consistent performers in Jose Mourinho’s squad.
As shown by Whoscored.com, no Tottenham player made more successful challenges than Hojbjerg. He was also amongst the most successful passers in the Spurs squad.
And many supporters felt that Hojbjerg produced another fantastic display for Mourinho’s men as they battled superbly to secure a point.
‘Complete captain material’
His partnership with Moussa Sissoko seems to be developing at a rapid rate. And the pair have to take a lot of credit for giving Spurs the stability that allows their frightening attack to often steal the headlines further up the pitch.
With that in mind, here is how some fans – including some Chelsea supporters – reacted to Hojbjerg’s performance…
PEH has been immense today. Getting key tackles and blocks in. He’s shored up our defensive presence tremendously.

The work Hojbjerg does for Mourinho defensively infront of the back four is just brilliant. We never talk about that boy, practically he’s everywhere the ball is. he’s been an engine since his debut for Tottenham. What a signing, what a player !👏👏
