Fans react on Twitter to display of Liverpool starlet Conor Bradley

A number of fans, including some Liverpool supporters, have taken to Twitter to comment on Conor Bradley after the 18-year-old made his first start for Northern Ireland on Tuesday.

Ian Baraclough’s side saw their slim hopes of progressing to next year’s World Cup evaporate after being beaten 2-1 by Bulgaria in Sofia.

Switzerland winning their clash in Lithuania has left Northern Ireland with too much work to do.

So it would have been a tough night for the visitors in Bulgaria. But there were some positives to take from the performance.

And one of those was the display from Bradley. The Liverpool starlet was named in the starting lineup for the first time.

And the 18-year-old showed why the hopes are so high for him. Of course, he only recently made his first-team debut for the Reds, in the Carabao Cup win at Norwich.

Certainly, plenty of Liverpool fans are incredibly excited about the future for Bradley. He obviously has a brilliant player to look up to in Trent Alexander-Arnold.

And while Northern Ireland are not going to be at the next World Cup, the door is now open for Baraclough to put more faith in players such as Bradley and Arsenal starlet Daniel Ballard.
