Burnley’s Under 23 side are unbeaten so far this season and they kept their run going in dramatic circumstances at home to Crystal Palace.
The Clarets’ age group side have drawn a staggering 11 games this season and came from behind for the fifth game in succession against the Eagles.
Palace raced into a 2-0 lead before Ali Koiki halved the deficit but the game looked to be gone when 32-year-old goalkeeper Adam Legzdins went up for a stoppage time corner.
And the former Birmingham man found the back of the net with a header to preserve Andy Farrell’s side’s unbeaten run for another game.

That late intervention meant that the game got a bit more coverage on the internet than it ordinarily would have done, with fans of many clubs jumping on the late strike.
The reactions were generally ones of shock, with fans loving the drama. Burnley have a stockpile of goalkeepers and that’s why the experienced Legzdins was between the sticks for the youth side and he pulled his side out of trouble here.
