Hugo Lloris has come in for a lot of praise from Tottenham fans on social media, after he produced a fine performance against Portugal last night.
The Spurs skipper lined up for his 117th cap at the Estadio da Luz, and helped his country book their place in the Nations League finals.

Les Bleus ran out 1-0 winners with Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante grabbing the game’s only goal.
France were probably worth their victory, with Lloris on top form between the sticks.
The 33-year-old was equal to everything Portugal had and made six saves, including from Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Guerreiro and Joao Moutinho.
Moutinho’s brilliant second-half effort from distance looked destined to rifle into the top corner, but Lloris produced an outstanding save at full stretch to deny the veteran, which was undoubtedly the highlight of his work.

It was a highly impressive display of athleticism from the star, who has been in fine form since coming back from the horrific arm injury he suffered against Brighton last year.
The former Lyon man – who cost Spurs around £8 million back in 2012 (Independent) – really has been at the top of his game for Spurs, and his latest display for France drew plenty of compliments on social media:
