Fans praise Ek following meeting with Arsenal Supporters Trust ahead of takeover bid

Arsenal fans have taken to social media to praise Daniel Ek following a meeting with the Arsenal’s Supporters Trust, along with Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.

The AST revealed on their official website that they have spoken with Ek, as well as the Arsenal legends, in the past few days ahead of a planned takeover bid of the club, which the Telegraph report could be made at the end of this week. The Swedish billionaire is keen on buying the Gunners off Stan Kroenke following the collapse of the European Super League.

Support and optimism is growing around Ek’s attempt to buy the club, with Arsenal fans desperate for the Spotify owner, and supporter of the club, to take over from Kroenke, who has been criticised on multiple occasions for his ownership of the north London side, and AST’s meeting with the Swede and consortium was well praised on social media.
