Brentford playmaker Said Benrahma is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League of late, with both Arsenal and Newcastle United reportedly interested – and Bees fans have discussed his future, and his value, on Twitter.
Benrahma, 24, joined Brentford in the summer of 2018 and has since played 71 times for Thomas Frank’s side – having a hand in 42 goals, scoring 19 times and creating 23 assists. He has a contract at Griffin Park until the summer of 2022.
The Algeria international has formed one third of a lethal Championship attack that is pushing the club close to the summit of England’s second tier – and promotion. He is starring in red and white alongside Bryan Mbuemo and Ollie Watkins.

Premier League interest has ramped up in the attacking midfielder this week. The Sun have claimed that Premier League sides Newcastle United and Leicester City are interested in Benrahma, who is valued at about £15million.
The Telegraph then claimed that Arsenal are interested in signing Benrahma, as he continues to shine for London-based Brentford. He is considered one of the Championship’s best players.
Brentford fans have reacted on Twitter to reports that Arsenal, Leicester and Newcastle are all keen on Benrahma ahead of the summer window – and many believe he is worth a lot more than the £15million price tag that is being touted.
