Sweden lost 3-0 to Spain last night in qualifying for the European Championships in a game in which Leeds United played the full 90 minutes.
With both Victor Lindelof and Andreas Granqvist absent for Sweden, the Leeds man was tasked with stopping the impressive Spanish attack. Alongside his former Malmo team-mate Filip Helander the Leeds man put in a strong display.
The first-half, in particular, saw Jansson in fine form. Strong in the air and brave with blocking shots it was a typical Jansson display. When it came to defending in his own box, Jansson was looking unbeatable.

Unfortunately, Sweden offered very little going forward and eventually Spain broke the deadlock.
A handball from Sebastian Larsson allowed Sergio Ramos a chance to score from the spot. After that, Jansson and Sweden began to suffer.
In fact, Jansson was turned inside out by Alvaro Morata in the lead up to the second penalty award.
But despite that fact, fans watching the game seemed to be very impressed with the Leeds United man’s display against Spain.
