A number of fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of James Milner as Liverpool produced a remarkable draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Reds played out a quite incredible game in North London. There were five goals, one red card and a number of contentious decisions made by the referee.

Certainly, Liverpool have every right to feel aggrieved to have had Andy Robertson sent off when Harry Kane stayed on the pitch for an awful challenge in the first-half.
It was not a day when Liverpool were at their best by any means. But their squad – like several others – is currently having to deal with losing a number of players.

Milner was making his first league start for some time with the likes of Jordan Henderson, Thiago and Fabinho all absent for the visitors.
And while it was not a flawless performance from any Liverpool player, Milner was certainly one who received plenty of credit.
The midfielder turns 36 next month. And yet, he produced a brilliant performance all over the pitch. He seemed to be everywhere, particularly in the minutes immediately after Robertson was sent off.

He made two particularly crucial interceptions as Spurs threatened to get though. And plenty of fans, including a number of neutrals, lauded the way Milner continues to produce big performances at the highest level.
