Respected journalist, Fabrizio Romano, has told Tottenham supporters they needn’t worry about the future of defender Sergio Reguilon, amid talk of a Madrid return.
Rumours have started to circulate that Reguilon could be a target for Real Madrid in the summer, despite the Spanish giants only selling him to Spurs this past summer.

It is believed there may be an option of a buy-back for Madrid when it comes to Reguilon. However, Romano, speaking on his Here We Go Podcast today, has allayed any fears Spurs fans might have.
“There a still people who say Real Madrid will buy Reguilon next summer. Finally the decision is up to the player and he is totally focused on Tottenham. He is so happy with the Tottenham atmosphere. Don’t worry Tottenham fans,” Romano said.
It seems, then, that despite Madrid’s apparent interest, it will indeed come down to what Reguilon wants to do.

And given he is playing regularly under Jose Mourinho and has been part of, in the main, a winning team, there would appear to be no major reason for the Spaniard to return to La Liga.
Great news, Reguilon has been fantastic – TBR View
Of all the summer signings Spurs made, Reguilon has been one of the better ones. His performances at left-back have ensured that Mourinho has a solid defender but one with an attacking attitude, too.
Him staying put in the summer will be a huge boost and Romano’s comments should provide some comfort to Spurs fans.
