Ben Chilwell is very much out of the picture at Chelsea right now.
The left-back isn’t a part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at the moment, and Chelsea did all they could to sell him in the summer.
Chilwell will be back on the market in January, and, hopefully, he will get a move.
In the meantime, Chilwell remains a Chelsea player, and while it would be easy for the defender to throw his toys out of the pram, he’s remaining professional.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, writing on The Daily Briefing, Chilwell is still training at the best possible level at Chelsea and maintaining his professionalism despite what has been a very tricky period.

Ben Chilwell is training well
Romano shared what he’s heard about Chilwell.
“It’s too early to comment on where Ben Chilwell will end up next. This is going to be a topic for December because now it’s still quiet,” Romano wrote.
“Chilwell is training at the best level possible to help Chelsea and to be as professional as usual. There are no contacts ongoing with any club yet, but the plan is for Chelsea to sell/offload Chilwell in January, that’s true.”
Ben Chilwell would be a great purchase
Ben Chilwell may not have a future at Chelsea, but he surely has a future in the Premier League.
Indeed, the England international would be a great purchase for so many teams in the league, and the fact that he’s still training to a high level just goes to show what type of player Chilwell is.
The left-back is a seriously professional player who will work hard for his team no matter how dire the circumstances are, and there isn’t a team in the Premier League who would turn down a player like this.
It will be interesting to see where Chilwell ends up in January, because he’ll be one of the better players available on the transfer market.
