Alejandro Garnacho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer.
The Argentina international has been a decent player for the Red Devils in recent seasons, and he has produced some excellent moments.
However, Garnacho has fallen out with Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford, and all signs point towards an exit before the window shuts on the first of September.
Erik ten Hag’s Bayer Leverkusen have been linked with a move to sign the winger.
What Bayer Leverkusen feel about Alejandro Garnacho after showing interest
Alejandro Garnacho is a very good player.
The Manchester United star is still only 21 years old, and he has the ability and potential to become a big star in the coming years.
It doesn’t look like Garnacho will get the chances he wants at Old Trafford under Amorim, and that is why a move away is very likely.
Bayer Leverkusen, who are now managed by Ten Hag, were interested in signing Garnacho, but Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the German club feel this deal is almost impossible now.
The journalist said in a video on his YouTube channel: “Bayer Leverkusen were showing some interest, it was two to three weeks ago. But, a deal is more than unlikely, almost impossible for Bayer Leverkusen despite the appreciation of Erik ten Hag.
“Also, Leverkusen, they feel the player wants to stay in the Premier League. Leverkusen feel that Garnacho will wait for a Premier League club to make a move and continue in the Premier League next season. So, let’s see what’s going to happen.”
Romano ended the topic by saying: “Bayer Leverkusen believe that this deal is more than unlikely, probably impossible.”
Will Alejandro Garnacho be allowed to train at Manchester United during pre-season?
In an ideal world, Manchester United would’ve wanted to sell Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho by this point in the window.
However, all three players are still at the club.
It is clear that Amorim and Garnacho don’t quite see eye-to-eye, so some fans have wondered whether the Argentina international would be allowed to train with the first team during pre-season.
ESPN have revealed that Garnacho will indeed be given permission to train with his teammates until he secures a move away from the club.
It remains to be seen whether a Premier League side will make a move to sign him in the coming weeks.
