Aaron Ramsdale has slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal this season and his future in north London remains unclear.
The 25-year-old was a key man for the Gunners last term as Mikel Arteta’s side narrowly missed out on the Premier League title.
David Raya is very much the main man between the sticks for Arsenal now, with Aaron Ramsdale managing just six league starts this term.
Ramsdale’s departure this summer has been described as ‘almost a guarantee’ and some may wonder how that could affect his attitude behind the scenes at London Colney.
But Fabrizio Romano claims that Ramsdale’s behaviour since dropping to the bench has been ‘fantastic’.

Speaking in his latest YouTube video, Romano shared an update on Ramsdale’s future.
“It’s important to say about Ramsdale guys because I’ve told you many times about David Raya, Arsenal will buy David Raya from Brentford,” the transfer insider said. “It will be made a permanent transfer for the Spanish goalkeeper.
“Aaron Ramsdale wants to play more. He doesn’t want to spend one more season on the bench. He’s been fantastic, let me say, in terms of behaviour with the manager, the fans and with his teammates, especially with David Raya, supporting him always.
“But for Ramsdale, in the summer, it’s going to be time to look at new solutions because he wants to play. He can’t stay at Arsenal and be on the bench regularly.
“That’s why Arsenal will look at opportunities for Ramsdale but also Ramsdale himself will explore options around the market to find a new solution.”
Did Ramsdale make the latest England squad?
Despite his lack of minutes this season, Ramsdale was called up to Gareth Southgate’s latest England last week.
The 25-year-old was picked alongside fellow Premier League goalkeepers Jordan Pickford and Sam Johnstone.

Everton’s Pickford remains very much Southgate’s preferred choice between the sticks, but Ramsdale was knocking on the door for a spot in the XI before Raya’s arrival at Arsenal.
The Arsenal star looks set to make the squad for this summer’s Euros. Yet, he will surely have to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer should he wish to replace Pickford in the future.
