Arsenal improve Chido Obi-Martin offer

The transfer insider has taken to X to report that the Gunners have now improved their offer to Obi-Martin in a bid to keep him at the club.

Arsenal are pushing for him to stay, but there is no agreement yet, added Romano.

Obi-Martin is reportedly still exploring bids from the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund as the pathway to the first-team is key for him.

Who is Arsenal academy player Chido Obi Martin?

Chido Obi-Martin is a 16-year-old forward who is currently playing for Arsenal’s Under-18s.

He was born in 2007 in Glostrup on the outskirts of Copenhagen and moved to the United Kingdom as a teenager, joining Arsenal in 2022 aged 14.

Obi-Martin has quickly risen through the ranks at Hale End and has been making waves thanks to his incredible efforts at Under-18 level.

He finished last season with a staggering 32 goals and three assists from just 24 outings at youth level.

Back in November, the teenager scored 10 goals for Arsenal’s Under-16s in a 14-3 win over Liverpool’s U16s.

Obi-Martin has played for both England and Denmark’s national teams at youth level, and is also eligible to represent Nigeria.

At present, he’s playing for the Danish Under-17s, where he is showing similarly prolific form. He has 10 goals in just 14 international outings.

Arsenal youth team expert Jeorge Bird has described the youngster as a “tall forward”, a “skilful player” and “one of the most exciting players in the Arsenal academy”.
