West Ham United are currently a hotbed of transfer activity, with multiple players expected to sign for the club this weekend.

The Hammers went into August having already made three signings in Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.

However, West Ham could soon double that tally in a matter of days, if not hours, thanks to great work by Tim Steidten.

Over the past 24 hours, the Hammers have got two deals over the line, and both of these are now at the medical stage.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update involving three potential new arrivals, with the stage being “all set” for one to complete his move.

Crysencio Summerville set to complete West Ham move

Romano, taking to X on Saturday morning, revealed that Crysencio Summerville is expected to seal a move to West Ham from Leeds United.

The transfer insider also claimed that Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez are on their way to east London for their medicals.

What can West Ham fans expect from Summerville?

As one of the best players outside the English top flight last term, Summerville looks like he’ll be a top acquisition for the Hammers.

The 22-year-old has made 89 competitive appearances for Leeds since joining in 2020, registering 25 goals and 12 assists.

Summerville really came to the fore last season, with 21 goals and 10 assists from 49 outings in all competitions.

His efforts for Leeds in the league earned him the Championship Player of the Season award in April.

Michael Owen previously described Summerville as “really exceptional”, while Daniel Farke labelled him “outstanding”.
