Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Ajax’s Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo in recent weeks.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has delivered an exciting update with regards to Spurs‘ pursuit of the highly-rated midfield talent.
The transfer insider has taken to X to claim that Tottenham are one of two teams set to make Idumbo-Muzambo an offer.

As well as Spurs, Sevilla are apparently going to present a proposal to sign the 18-year-old Belgium youth international.
Better still for Tottenham, Idumbo-Muzambo has apparently decided he wants to leave, and will turn down any contract offers from Ajax.
There is an agreement for the player to be sold in January or to leave as a free agent at the end of the season, added Romano.
Earlier in December, Belgian outlet DH claimed that the ‘most concrete avenue’ for Idumbo-Muzambo leads to Spurs.
Tottenham’s idea is apparently to sign the youngster and place him in the first-team for the rest of the campaign. The various parties can then assess the next steps in summer.
Now, as per Romano’s claims, it looks as though Spurs are taking the relevant steps to hopefully bring Idumbo-Muzambo to N17 in the coming weeks.
Tottenham Hotspur will fancy their chances of signing Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo
Tottenham have struck gold in terms of signing talented prospects recent years, with the likes of Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie becoming established first-teamers after stints out on loan.
Idumbo-Muzambo seems like he’s in the same category. Football Talent Scout‘s Jacek Kulig deemed him one of several in a “very interesting generation of Ajax Under-18s” earlier this year.
Already looking a cut above in youth football, he looks like a very exciting prospect, and hopefully Spurs can get a deal over the line.
No doubt Idumbo-Muzambo will have seen how the likes of Sarr and Udogie have had a good pathway into Ange Postecoglou’s first-team and will feel confident Spurs will do the same for him.
